We are delighted to announce the upcoming泭惇蹋勛圖 Regional Conference Newport, taking place on:

泭Friday 4th September 2026
泭The ICC Wales, Coldra Wood, Newport NP18 1DE

Theme:泭Beyond the device

This years conference will feature an engaging and diverse programme, including:

  • Three keynote speakers

  • Seven oral presentations

  • Poster displays

  • Lunch and refreshments throughout the day included.

惇蹋勛圖 members will receive fully funded tickets to attend.

Non- members will be priced at 瞿110.00 for an early bird ticket (Until 03/07/26) and 瞿130.00 for a standard ticket.

Tickets are now live we encourage you to book early, as our last conference in Oxford sold out quickly!

惇蹋勛圖泭 Networking Evening

Why not join us the evening before the conference and awards for an informal networking opportunity with fellow delegates, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and members of the 惇蹋勛圖 team?

The 惇蹋勛圖 team will be staying at the泭,Hotel on both Thursday and Friday evenings and would be delighted to welcome delegates for a relaxed evening of conversation and networking in the hotel bar on泭Thursday 3rd September 2026.

Whether you are attending the conference, the awards ceremony, or both, this is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the profession, meet new contacts, and catch up with friends in an informal setting before the main events begin.

If you are planning to stay at the hotel, delegates can access a discounted accommodation rate (based on best availability so be sure to book at your earliest convenience to secure the best rate) which you will receive upon booking tickets to the events泭when booking.

Call for Abstracts

We warmly invite submissions from prosthetists, orthotists, technicians, support workers, managers, researchers, educators, learners, and wider AHP colleagues. You are encouraged to submit an abstract for either a 15 minute oral presentation or a poster presentation on any topic related to the theme Beyond the Device.

This theme recognises that prosthetic and orthotic care extends far beyond reducing pain or improving movement. Beyond the Device reflects the broader impact these interventions have on peoples lives, including supporting individuals to remain in or return to work and education, enabling independent living, reducing the need for acute care, and contributing to improved mental health, confidence, and self-esteem.泭泭泭

The theme may encompass a range of collaborative efforts, whether within your own team, across multidisciplinary teams, between stakeholder groups, or in partnership with your professional body. We are particularly interested in presentations that demonstrate how collaboration has contributed to improved service user outcomes, innovative service redesign, or successful project delivery.

If you are selected for a poster presentation, 惇蹋勛圖 will provide you with an optional poster template for you to use and a guide on presenting posters at conferences.泭


Submission Details:

  • Please indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation.
  • Use the abstract template provided below to prepare your submission.
  • If selected for a poster presentation, 惇蹋勛圖 will supply an optional poster template and guidance on effective poster presentation.
  • All posters must be A1 size, anything that is not A1 will not be displayed
  • It is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure their printed poster is brought to the conference for display.泭


Key Information:

  • Oral presentations will be 15 minutes in duration, followed by a maximum 5-minute Q&A session.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by a selection panel, and decisions will be made based on pre-defined criteria.
  • If your abstract is not selected for oral presentation, it may be considered for poster presentation or future events.
  • Poster presenters must be available during the designated session to discuss their work.泭
  • Prizes will be awarded for the best oral presentation (瞿200) and best poster (瞿100).
  • Each accepted abstract will receive one complimentary registration for the conference.
  • All author(s) must email 惇蹋勛圖 an electronic copy of their poster and 泭oral presentations by 24/08/2026
